Looking Back: My Time on Twitch in 2020-2021

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my streaming journey during those wild years of 2020 and 2021. If you were there, you know it was a time when many people sought ways to remain connected. It was also a time to maintain sanity. For me, that space was Twitch.

I started streaming as a way to share the things I love—gaming and chatting—with people who needed a break from the chaos of the world. Honestly, I needed it too. Whether we were diving into a new game together or just hanging out and chatting, the goal was simple: create a chill, welcoming space for everyone.

Gaming Together

When it came to gaming, I wasn’t trying to be the best player or speedrun my way to victory. It was about sharing the experience. Sometimes we’d get totally immersed in a game’s story, and other times it was just a fun excuse to laugh at my questionable in-game decisions. But every stream was about having fun and making a little escape from reality.

The Power of a Good Chat

Some of my favorite streams were the Just Chatting ones. No gameplay, no distractions—just us hanging out and talking about everything and anything. Those sessions were where the real connections happened. We talked about games, shared stories, swapped life advice, and just existed together.

Streaming in that period wasn’t just about the content; it was about building a community where people felt comfortable being themselves. It felt amazing to see people show up regularly, share their lives, and just vibe together.

What I’ll Always Remember

Looking back, the thing I’m most proud of is the community we built. It wasn’t about big numbers or flashy content; it was about creating a little corner of the internet where people could relax and feel good for a while. That’s something I’ll always cherish.

So, whether you were there for the games, the chats, or just to lurk in the background, thank you for being part of it. Streaming during that time gave me so much joy, and I hope it gave you a little bit too.

Here’s to the good memories and the amazing people who made them happen.
